Getting Help
Getting depression treated will most likely cure your depression to the best abilities.
Its usually best to go see a therapists, or talk to some about it.
Many people with sever depression choose to take medication so they can achieve remission and prevent relapsing back into it.
Psychotherapy with medication usually help people with low-self esteem and demoralization problems.
Ways without medication include:
-Relaxation Technique ( get a tape of demonstration of how to relax yourself)
-Yoga or meditation to help soothe your mind and nerves
(both of these help with stress and depression)
-venting is always a good way to release these cooped up emotions.
There are also things such as natural antidepressants. Omega is on of the natural anti depressants
Writing a diary, documenting your feelings and worries, is also a good way to release all those emotions
There is also an exercise called "stretch your life", you find areas where you are really good to your self and things you like about you and your life.
These treatments might help lower your level of stress or depression
If the depression is severe, then i think you can resort to medication, but it is best to not let your body get reliant on these drugs or even abuse them.
Some people try to self-medicate themselves with drugs or alcohol, but this is never the answer, it is only a temporary fix, then a crash to rock bottom.
